Fire crews put out Tregaron's Hall House blaze

Firefighters have put out a blaze at a landmark building in a Ceredigion town.

The fire started in the roof space of Hall House which adjoins Tregaron Memorial Hall in the town's square at about 1900 BST on Wednesday.

Four crews from Mid and West Wales Fire Service dealt with the blaze. There were initial concerns it could spread.

The memorial hall is home to many groups, including the Young Farmers' Club, WI, the Welsh women's group Merched y Wawr and British Legion.
