Two men remanded over £13,000 Powys bank guard robbery

Two men have been remanded in custody for pre-sentence reports after robbing a security guard who was carrying £13,000 in cash from a Powys bank.

Mark Ricardo Lawlor, 26, from Solihull, and Micquel Daniel France, 24, of no fixed abode but from the Birmingham area, appeared at Mold Crown Court.

Both admitted robbing a private security firm guard at the entrance to Barclays Bank in Machynlleth on 19 May.

Judge Niclas Parry remanded the two of them in custody until in September.
