Cardiff roads reopen after crash and cooking oil spill

Roads have reopened after a multi-vehicle crash and a spillage of cooking oil brought delays for drivers travelling into Cardiff.

Two lanes were closed during the morning rush hour on the A4232 Cardiff link road after a crash between Leckwith and Cardiff Bay Retail Park.

Meanwhile, Newport Road, a main route into the east of the city, has also reopened after a big spillage of oil.

A van shed several hundred litres on the Southern Distributor Road.

South Wales Fire and Rescue Service said the van was the only vehicle involved and Highways Agency attended the scene to help with the clean-up.
