Man, 70, 'serious' after cliff fall at Llangrannog

A 70-year-man has been airlifted to hospital with serious injuries after falling from cliffs in Ceredigion.

The New Quay inshore lifeboat ferried the man from the bottom of the rocks to Llangrannog.

From there an RAF rescue helicopter transported him to Withybush hospital in Haverfordwest.

Milford Haven Coastguard said they received the call-out at 17:50 BST on Tuesday from someone who witnessed the man's fall.
