Tributes to Llanfoist motorcyclist Milton Watkins, 69

Tributes have been paid to a 69-year-old motorcyclist who died after a collision on the A4042 in Monmouthshire on Sunday.

Milton Watkins from Llanfoist, died at the scene at Llanellen, near Abergavenny, while two passengers in a Peugeot 206 were treated for minor injuries.

Mr Watkins was a father of one and had four grandchildren.

Gwent Police are asking witnesses to call on 101 or 01633 838111.

In a tribute, his family said: "Milton was a loving father to his son Jason and a wonderful grandfather to his four grandchildren, Dannie-Lee, Tommy-Lee, Casey-Lee & Harrison-Lee.

"He was born in Llanelly Hill and spent his working life as a tool maker in Coopers Filters, Abergavenny.

"He was very active and loved taking the children for long walks and relaxing in the garden. He will be sadly missed by all his friends and family."
