Fish worth thousands stolen after van stolen in Pontcanna, Cardiff

A van containing thousands of pounds worth of fish has been stolen in Cardiff.

Police are checking CCTV footage and appealing for witnesses after the white Ford Transit was taken from Plasturton Place, Pontcanna.

It contained around £5,000 worth of frozen and chilled fish in its refrigeration unit.

South Wales Police believe attempts may be made to sell the fish on.

The van was stolen while making a delivery on Saturday 28 January at around 10:20 GMT.

Police have asked for anyone with information to call 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
