Woman arrested on suspicion of man's murder in Swansea

A 33-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man's body was discovered at a house in Swansea.

South Wales Police said the body was found at a home in Penbryn Terrace, in the Brynmill area of the city, at about 06:15 GMT.

The woman is being held Swansea central police station.

Officers said they were not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident.

Ch Supt Mark Matthias of South Wales Police said: "Residents of Brynmill have no doubt this morning noticed a heightened police presence in the locality.

"This is in connection with an incident which occurred at a house in Penbryn Terrace. I would like to reassure the public that a full police investigation is under way.

"An arrest has been made and we are not looking for anyone else in connection with the matter."
