Owain Roberts' partner's pain a month after the musician from Cardigan went missing

The girlfriend of a musician missing for almost a month has says her world has "come to a standstill".

Owain Roberts, 36, was last spotted out walking at 11:00 BST on 10 March not far from his home town of Cardigan, Ceredigion.

He was due to meet his father near a church in Mwnt, but failed to show up.

Dyfed-Powys Police said pictures of Mr Roberts had been circulated to officers across the force area

Despite numerous public appeals, the guitarist's whereabouts remain a mystery. His girlfriend Lisa Head said: "I just feel numb."

The 37-year-old, who has been with Mr Roberts for three and a half years, said the last four weeks had been the worst in her life.

"This isn't something you can easily put into words," she said.

"I just feel numb and in complete shock because we just don't know what has happened.

"The police have scoured the area and there is no sign of any accident.

"The worst thing is we have absolutely nothing to go on and this is just the hardest thing to get to grips with.

"It has been the hardest four weeks of my life."


Previously, Mr Roberts' family were concerned he may have been suffering with depression but stressed that for him not to make contact was "completely out of character".

A guitarist with local rock act The Reasoning, he had planned to meet his sister before he went missing and was said to be looking forward to seeing her.

Speaking to the Wales on Sunday newspaper, Miss Head added she had also received a picture message off him just hours before his disappearance.

"I had texted him that morning to ask where he was. What came back almost an hour later was a picture of Mwnt and a kiss," she added.

Theatr Mwldan worker Mr Roberts is described as 5ft 10in tall, of medium build, with blue-grey eyes.

His hair is short in length and is grey on the sides, while his front-left tooth has a chip in it.


Dyfed-Powys Police said pictures of Mr Roberts had been circulated to officers across the force area as well as via the media.

A spokesman added: "He may now well have grown stubble by this time.

"The top he was last seen wearing has a round neck, and the cardigan he was wearing over it is a thick knit with a zip-up front, with a quilted hood. The cardigan is a Top Shop cardigan."

"He was also carrying a grey canvas type shoulder bag with orange stitching."

Dyfed-Powys Police have asked anyone with information on Mr Roberts' whereabouts to call on 01267 222020.
