Dairy farmers halt milk protests during Olympics

Help

Farmers have suspended their protests over milk prices during the Olympics to make sure they keep public support.

Around 50 dairy farmers met at Welshpool livestock market and decided to stop action for the next two weeks.

After recent protests, some dairies have already scrapped plans to cut the amount they pay farmers for milk.

Craig Duggan reports.
