Rhostryfan, near Caernarfon: Rain floods village roads
The extent of the flooding in parts of north Wales has been captured on a mobile phone by a BBC viewer.
Mari Rogers was travelling through Rhostryfan, near Caernarfon, Gwynedd, where a torrent of water flowed along roads through the village.
Winds of 86mph have been recorded at Capel Curig in Conwy and 90mph gales have hit the Gower peninsula, Swansea.
Roads are flooded, trains are disrupted and dozens of trees are down.
Meanwhile, North Wales fire service used boats to rescue children stranded by flood water at Dolbadarn primary school in Llanberis, Gwynedd.
