£9m Glan Conwy reservoir to protect water supplies

A £9m reservoir under construction in the Conwy Valley will help protect water supplies to 70,000 homes, says Welsh Water.

The Coed Dolwyd site in Glan Conwy is now almost halfway through being built.

The concrete tanks will hold 25 megalitres of water, which is equivalent to 10 full Olympic-sized swimming pools.

Rob Thomas reports.
