North Wales Police appeal after elderly cyclist injured

Police are appealing for witnesses after an elderly cyclist fell off her bike and suffered life-threatening injuries in Conwy county.

The incident happened at 10:00 BST on Tuesday on the B5427 at Melin-y-Coed, near Llanrwst.

North Wales Police said that no other vehicles were involved.

The local woman was flown by helicopter to hospital at Ysbyty Glan Clwyd.
