Connah's Quay boy, five, injured in collision with car

A five-year-old boy who was riding his bike is in hospital with serious head injuries after he was involved in a collision with a car, say North Wales Police.

Emergency services were called on St Mark's Avenue, Connah's Quay in Flintshire at 17:20 BST on Monday.

Police say a silver Fiat Punto car was involved.

The boy is in a serious condition in Alder Hey Hospital in Liverpool. Police are appealing for witnesses.
