Police reopen A40 Llanwrda after 60 loose horses rounded up

Police have reopened a main road in Carmarthenshire which was closed to round up 60 horses loose on the carriageway.

Dyfed-Powys Police shut the A40 in both directions between A482 Llanwrda and A4069 Llangadog on Thursday morning and diversions were put in place.

A police spokeswoman said the road has been reopened.

The horses were safely taken back to their field.
