Friend urges Jihadist Reyaad Khan to return to Cardiff

2 July 2014 Last updated at 00:03 BST

A friend of a Cardiff man who is one of three from the city to have joined a jihadist group in Syria has urged him to come home.

Mohammed Islam, a close friend of Reyaad Khan, said his family would be shocked and horrified by comments he appears to have made online.

Mr Khan was one of three Cardiff men who appeared in an online video urging others to join the Isis (Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant) fight in the country.

BBC Wales' Week In Week Out programme believes it has found a social media account belonging to Mr Khan, which gives graphic references to killings.
