Caernarfon Segontium Roman fort 'restored' using CGI

6 August 2014 Last updated at 08:27 BST

A Caernarfon Roman fort has been restored to its former glory thanks to CGI technology.

Historic monuments body Cadw has created a video to show how Segontium looked around 70 AD.

The video superimposes the fort on the town's landscape as it is today for a sense of scale.

Caerphilly Castle was restored thanks to CGI in July as part of Cadw's Time Traveller campaign.
