Five Welsh people receive Queen's Birthday Honours

Five Welsh people received honours at Buckingham Palace on Wednesday.

Prof Michael Owen of Cardiff University was awarded a Knighthood for services to neuroscience and mental health.

MBEs were given to foster carers Stuart and Sandra Peacock from Barry, Vale of Glamorgan, and former head teacher of Castell Alun High School in Wrexham, Flintshire, David Mountfort.

Joining them was Cae Dai Trust founder Robert 'Sparrow' Harrison from Denbigh, Denbighshire.
