Wales' first 'Super Express' train to be tested this year

The first "Super Express" train, which will run on the main south Wales line when it is electrified, is on its way to the UK.

Produced by Hitachi for the Intercity Express Programme, the trains will be used on the First Great Western services to London.

They are due to arrive in March and will be tested on lines in the UK which have already been electrified.

The Swansea and London is due to be electrified by 2018.
