High winds led to hazardous driving conditions across Wales on Wednesday.

One lane of the M48 Severn Bridge was closed due to strong winds.

The A477 Cleddau Bridge was closed to high-sided vehicles and motorbikes due to strong winds between Pembroke Dock and Neyland.

Meanwhile the A470 in Dolgellau, Gwynedd, was partly blocked in both directions due to a fallen tree between the A496 Dolgellau and the A4212 Trawsfynydd.

Gusts of wind in Capel Curig, Conwy, have reached 81mph.

There was congestion on the M4 due to an accident which had blocked a lane just before J45 Ynysforgan, with traffic slow back to J48 Hendy/Llanelli.

Motorists were also warned of strong winds on the M4 Briton Ferry Bridge in both directions at Neath Port Talbot.
