Truck driver Peter Davies jailed for Pauline Richards death

A pick-up truck driver who killed a pedestrian when his vehicle collided with her and two parked vehicles in Swansea has been jailed for 30 months.

Pauline Richards, 57, died in hospital following the incident on Swansea Road in Llangyfelach on 9 July 2013.

Peter Davies said he did not remember how it happened but was upset about it.

The 54-year-old from Rhondda, was convicted at Swansea Crown Court of causing death by dangerous driving following a three-day trial.
