'Sex assault' Glamorgan councillor appears in court

A Labour councillor accused of a sex attack at a Pembrokeshire nature reserve has appeared in court.

Vale of Glamorgan member, Rob Curtis, is accused of sexually assaulting a woman on Skomer Island on 19 June, last year.

Mr Curtis, 50, of Barry, entered no plea to the alleged assault of a woman when he appeared at Haverfordwest Magistrates' Court on March 17.

He was granted unconditional bail until his next court appearance, on 14 April.

Mr Curtis also serves on Barry town council.
