BBC Cymru Wales has announced its second Welsh language radio station is to begin broadcasting from January.

The new station will be available on digital radio, online, BBC iPlayer Radio and TV. The existing Radio Cymru station will remain unchanged.

The first "fun-filled, music-based" breakfast show is due on 29 January.

Editor Betsan Powys said the station would "celebrate the fact that our audiences like and listen to different things".
