The crash happened on the A44 between Aberystwyth and Ponterwyd in the early hours of 31 August.

Anwen, of Penparcau, Aberystwyth, had just finished her GCSEs at the town's Penglais Comprehensive School.

Her head teacher, Haydn Davey, has described her as a "lively pupil and very popular with a wide friendship group".

He added: "She had just completed her GCSEs and had done very well in her customer care vocational qualification which she passed at the highest level. Anwen had been thinking about continuing her education at college."
