Police are seeking two good Samaritans who came to the aid of a woman who was being indecently assaulted.

A man and a woman saw the female was in difficulty with a man in Llanarth, near Aberaeron, Ceredigion and pushed him away, preventing a more serious attack.

Dyfed-Powys Police are urging the pair to come forward as they could hold vital information.

The alleged attack took place on 20 October at around 1930 BST as the woman stood at a bus stop.

Police have released an efit of a man they would like to question.

The man and a woman are described as white and appeared to be friends.

"Their individual action prevented a far more serious incident from occurring," said a Dyfed-Powys Police spokeswoman.

"Police are urging them to make contact as they hold vital information as to the description of the male who was responsible for the incident."

People with information can contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers, in confidence, on 0800 555 111.
