One dies, one injured in cliff fall at Aberystwyth
A man has died and another has suffered injuries after falling 35ft (10.6m) from a cliff and on to rocks in Ceredigion.
The incident happened at 16:52 BST on Wednesday at Constitution Hill in Aberystwyth.
Dyfed-Powys Police said an RAF Sea King helicopter airlifted the injured man to Bronglais Hospital for treatment.
The other man suffered fatal head injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
Police said the circumstances of the fall are not thought to be suspicious.
The alarm was raised by members of the public and police mounted a rescue operation with the help of the Milford Haven coastguard, paramedics and the local RNLI.
No further details are being released until next of kin have been informed.
