Man hurt on trampoline at New Quay holiday park

A 40-year-old man has been airlifted to hospital after suffering a back injury while using a trampoline at a holiday park in Ceredigion.

The ambulance service was called at 14:22 BST on Monday to the Quay West resort in New Quay.

A spokesman for Haven Holidays said: "Staff trained in first aid rushed to the man's aid and helped him from the trampoline.

"They placed him on a spinal board while the ambulance service was called.

"We're assisting the family as best we can."

The man is being treated at Morriston Hospital, Swansea, but his condition is not known.
