Fire crews tackle second blaze at Boys and Boden in Welshpool

Fire crews are fighting a large blaze at a builders' merchants in Powys, the second at the business in five months.

The alarm was raised at Boys and Boden in Welshpool shortly before 14:00 GMT. There are no reports of injuries.

The fire was initially reported in an extractor fan, but has led to the partial collapse of a building.

Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service said six fire engines and an aerial platform were at the scene in Mill Lane.

It is the second fire at the builders' merchants in five months.

In July, five fire engines were called to the company's premises when there was a blaze in the eaves of a building.

Boys and Boys was founded in 1895.
