Llanidloes reservoir deaths: Gordon Dyche denies charges

A man has denied causing four deaths by dangerous or careless driving after a car went into a Powys reservoir.

Gordon Dyche, 24, of Llanbrynmair, is charged with causing the deaths of Emyr Griffith, 66, Phyllis Hooper, 84, Peter Briscome and Liam Govier, both 14.

The family from Pontypridd died when their car plunged into Llyn Clywedog, near Llanidloes, in April last year.

Mr Dyche enter not guilty pleas to the eight charges at Caernarfon crown court and was released on bail.

Judge Merfyn Hughes QC adjourned the case until a trial at a date yet to be fixed.
