Missing April Jones: Mark Bridger murder trial adjourned

April's parents Paul and Coral Jones were in court for the hearing

The trial of the man accused of murdering five-year-old April Jones has been adjourned at Mold Crown Court.

Mark Bridger, 47, denies abducting and murdering April last October as well as intending to pervert the course of justice.

The trial is now due to start on 29 April.

April went missing as she played with friends near her home in Machynllyth, mid Wales, on 1 October. The search for her continues.

Her disappearance sparked one of the largest police searches in UK history.
