Fire crews tackle blaze at Broadoak Timber in Pentre'r Beirdd

More than 40 firefighters have tackled a major blaze at a timber company in Powys.

The alarm was raised at Broadoak Timber at Pentre'r Beirdd, near Welshpool, shortly after 18:00 BST.

Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service said 90% of the building had been affected by the flames.

Seven appliances were at the scene including an aerial ladder. No-one is thought to have been be injured.
