Three hurt in two-vehicle road crash near Aberystwyth

Two people have been airlifted to hospital and a third taken by road after a two-vehicle crash in Ceredigion.

The incident happened on the A4120 near the village of Capel Seion, close to Aberystwyth, at around 16:00 BST.

Two air ambulances were called and one patient was flown to the University Hospital of North Staffordshire in Stoke-on-Trent.

Fire crews and police are also at the scene.

The Welsh Ambulance Service said it was unclear where the second person had been airlifted to, but the third crash victim was taken by road ambulance to Bronglais Hospital in Aberystwyth.
