Man seriously hurt in two-car crash on A487 in Llanarth

A man has been seriously injured following a two-car crash on the A487 in Ceredigion.

He was a passenger in a Honda Civic which collided with a Citroen in Llanarth, near Aberaeron, at 16:40 BST on Sunday.

The man has been taken to the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff, while the male driver was taken to Bronglais Hospital for treatment.

People travelling in the Citroen were not seriously hurt.

The road was closed for about seven hours and Dyfed-Powys Police has appealed for witnesses.
