Tributes to Liam Wood who died at Aberystwyth University

Staff at Aberystwyth University have paid tribute to Liam Wood, a porter, who was found dead on the campus.

Mr Wood, who was in his 20s, had worked in Aberystwyth Art Centre for a year and was considered "a hugely valued and well-liked member of the team", a university spokesman said.

Dyfed-Powys Police said an inquiry was launched after his body was found at around 19:00 BST on Monday.

His death is being treated as unexplained by police.

In a statement released on Wednesday, the university said: "Our thoughts and sympathies are with his family and those who worked closely with him."
