Residents in Ceredigion have been told that council officials are ready for any extreme weather this winter.

Ceredigion council said it had a "tried and tested" major incident plan in place, in the event of a repeat of last winter's flooding.

As well as reviewing its planning it was also in regular contact with emergency services and Natural Resources Wales.

The council was also improving its website to keep residents informed.
