Teachers strike at Ysgol Penweddig, Aberystwyth
Teachers at a Ceredigion secondary school have started a three-day strike which will keep hundreds of pupils at home.
NASUWT members at Ysgol Penweddig in Aberystwyth have complained about disciplinary procedures and increasing workload demands.
The 23 members had threatened to walk out for a day last month.
It was called off at the last minute to allow talks with Ceredigion council to continue but they have stalled.
Pupils from years seven to 10 will be affected.
Chris Keates, general secretary of NASUWT, said the action was "deeply regrettable".
