Four held after family escapes house fire in Rhyl

Four people have been arrested in connection with a suspicious fire in Rhyl.

Officers from North Wales Police are currently questioning two men, aged 24 and 28, and two women, aged 47 and 22.

Police are keen to trace any witnesses to the fire, which broke out at the property on Walford Avenue at 0230 BST on Monday.

Five people, including two children, were in the house at the time but managed to escape.

The blaze caused extensive damage to the property.
