Man in court in Llandudno on wounding charge

A 53-year-old former soldier from Rhyl has been remanded in custody by magistrates in Llandudno on a wounding charge.

David Prestridge has been charged in connection with an alleged knife attack at a solicitor's office in Kinmel Street in Rhyl on Wednesday.

He is accused of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

An application for bail was refused. Mr Prestridge will appear at Mold Crown Court next Friday.
