Four people bailed after garage raids in Denbighshire

Four people who were arrested following armed robberies at two Denbighshire garages have been bailed by police.

Two men aged 20 and 23 and two women aged 20 and 36, all from Denbigh, were released pending further inquiries.

A number of properties were searched following a robbery at Morrisons Garage, Denbigh, on 28 December and Dyffryn Garage, Ruthin, on 29 December.

Anyone with information is asked to call 0845 6071001 (Welsh) or 0845 6071002 (English).

On Tuesday, 28 December, a masked man armed with a "cross bow-type weapon" raided the garage in Denbigh, police said.

The following day two men wearing ski masks and carrying what appeared to be a handgun struck in Ruthin.
