Man injured in head-on collision on A5104 near Corwen

One man has been taken to hospital with serious head injuries following a head-on collision in Denbighshire, say police.

The two-vehicle collision forced the closure of the A5104 at Carrog near Corwen at around 1620 BST on Saturday.

The driver of a Vauxhall Corsa, a 64-year-old local man, suffered head injuries and a broken leg and is being treated at Wrexham Maelor hospital.

The other vehicle was a Subaru Impreza from the Deeside area. Police say no-one else was seriously hurt.
