Inquiry after flat fire at Tryweryn Place, Wrexham

An investigation is under way after a fire caused severe damage to the roof of a flat in Wrexham.

North Wales Fire and Rescue Service said no-one was injured in the blaze at Tryweryn Place.

The alarm was raised at 2141 BST on Sunday, and four fire engines and an aerial ladder were called to the scene.

Two of the fire engines and the aerial ladder came from Wrexham, and two further fire engines came from nearby Johnstown and Chirk.

Police and fire investigators are inspecting the scene.
