Wrexham rescue services free boy, 4, from road grid

A specialist rescue unit came to the aid of a child whose arm became stuck in a road grid, say emergency services in north Wales.

The four-year-old boy's arm was released when the rescue team in Penycae, Wrexham, lifted the grid and his arm slid out safely.

North Wales Fire and Rescue Service said it received an emergency call at 1815 BST on Tuesday.

A fire crew was also sent out from Johnstown, and the boy was uninjured.
