National Vegetable Society competes in Llangollen
The UK's best vegetable growers are competing in north Wales for the first time.
The National Vegetable Society is hosting its championships at Llangollen Pavilion in Denbighshire.
While the competition has previously been held in south Wales, this is the charity's debut in the north, in the 51 years since it was founded.
The event takes place over the bank holiday weekend, with growers competing in 25 different classes.
Each year the society holds championships where the best growers compete for the red winner's card and prizes. The competition is hosted by a different branch each year.
The championships are being hosted by the Welsh branch in Llangollen, over the weekend and Monday.
