Teen quizzed after boy, 14, hurt at Wrexham skatepark

A teenager has been questioned by police after another boy suffered head injuries at a skatepark in Wrexham.

North Wales Police say the teenager has been released on bail pending further inquiries after the other boy, aged 14, was hurt at Coedpoeth.

Witnesses described a lot of police activity at the park off Ruthin Road on Monday evening.

The boy is said to be in a stable condition at Alder Hey children's hospital in Liverpool.

He is understood to be a pupil at St Joseph's Catholic and Anglican High School in Wrexham.

North Wales Police say the injured boy has now regained consciousness and officers are waiting until he is well enough before talking to him.
