Body found beside motorbike on Connah's Quay cycle path

A 26-year-old man has been discovered dead alongside an off-road motorbike on a cycle track in Connah's Quay, Flintshire.

North Wales Police said the body was found on the track running parallel with Dock Road at 05:00 GMT on Sunday.

Officers say the man lived locally and his death is not being treated as suspicious. His family and the coroner have been informed.

An investigation into exactly how he died is being carried out.

North Wales Police want anyone who may have witnessed a small green off road "pit bike" on Saturday to contact Sgt Alun Davies or PC Mark Lightfoot on 101, if phoning from Wales or 0845 607 1001 (Welsh language line) or 0845 607 1002 (English language line).
