Wrexham train collision man killed

A man has been killed in a collision with a train in north Wales, say British Transport Police.

Officers called to a stretch of line near Rhosymedre, Wrexham, on Sunday at 17:15 GMT found the body.

The force said it was trying to establish the man's identity and the circumstances surrounding his death. The coroner was being informed.

Anyone with any information is being asked to ring 0800 40 50 40 or Crime Stoppers on 0800 555 11.

The train involved was the 1507 Birmingham International to Chester, police said.
