Three children, two adults rescued from Holywell fire

Firefighters have rescued five people, including three children aged under four, from a house blaze.

They were called to Bryn Mawr Road, Holywell, Flintshire, at 03:20 GMT on Wednesday, finding smoke damage in the hallway.

No-one needed hospital treatment but paramedics assessed the man and woman in their 20s, a girl of three, 18-month-old boy and a girl, eight months.

The cause of the fire is being investigated.
