Copper theft in Rhyl: Michael Hancock remanded in custody

A man who admitted stealing copper three times from a Scottish Power compound in Rhyl has been remanded in custody by a court in Llandudno.

Michael Hancock, 21, of no fixed address, is accused of stealing copper worth £2,200, selling it at £100 on each occasion to a local dealer, according to the prosecution.

Another man has been charged with handling stolen goods.

Hancock will appear before Prestatyn magistrates for sentencing on 5 March.
