Cyclist found injured on Gresford-Llay road dies

North Wales Police are investigating the death of a cyclist found injured on a roadside after a collision.

The local man, aged 52, was discovered by a railway bridge at Griffin Hill, Gresford, at 19:30 BST on Saturday.

He was taken to Wrexham Maelor Hospital, but died on Sunday. North Wales Police are appealing for help.

The man, whose name has not yet been released, was riding a blue cycle on Gresford Road towards Llay before the collision.
