Woman rescued from sea off Rhyl by RNLI lifeboat

A woman has been rescued from the sea off north Wales by lifeboat.

The alarm was raised at 16:15 GMT on Saturday after the woman was seen walking into the water from a beach at Rhyl.

The coastguard said it alerted one of its teams and an inshore lifeboat crew from Rhyl, who eventually pulled her to safety.

She was passed to paramedics, but was not clear whether the woman needed taking to hospital for treatment.
