Boy, 10, trapped under car near Rhyl High School

A 10-year-old boy has been injured in a collision which left him trapped underneath a car outside a Denbighshire school.

Police were called to Grange Road near Rhyl High School at 08:11 GMT following reports of an incident involving a Vauxhall Vectra.

North Wales Fire and Rescue Service used an air bag to free him.

He was later taken to Ysbyty Glan Clwyd in Bodelwyddan but his injuries are believed to be minor, said police.

North Wales Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident to contact them on 101 quoting reference P026275.
